The Makers Gallery & Studio is the home of art and craft activity in the Wimmera region. It is a community facility funded by the Horsham Rural City Council, which also provides the services of a part-time coordinator. The Makers is a community access facility which includes a large studio space and a gallery. The Makers aims to foster and promote artistic development in the community through the delivery of a large range of high quality services.The Makers is guided and supported by a diverse range of resident art and craft groups,all who welcome new members. These groups co-ordinate workshops, tours and artists talks, and play an important role in promoting their art form within the community.

The Makers Gallery & Studio groups are: Horsham Patchwork Quilters,  Spinners & Weavers Embroiderers, Botanical Painters and the Horsham Artists Society.
